CFIA Primary Control Zones
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) will establish a Primary Control Zone (PCZ) in the area where the disease has been identified. Use the following link to access CFIA’s maps, which will be updated: Avian Influenza Control Zones.
CFIA has implemented movement control permissions. Please access this information to determine which type of permit you may require. If you are required to submit a movement permission request, please do so a minimum of seven (7) days in advance of the planned movement. Questions regarding imminent movements can be directed to:
